Regulator Distribution Launch!
In 2006 my friend Mike Beer, of Beer City skateboards and records, and I decided to start 1031 skateboards. That was dumb idea number one! In 2009 we decided to start dumb idea number 2 and that is called Landshark wheels. Well since then we have been approached by a few major skateboard distributors with interest in either buying our companies or distributing them. Every skateboard company owners dream right? All that notoriety and money rolling in! Well we saw it a little differently. No offense but at the end of the day we were not to sure we could trust some of these guys. I mean I dont know if some of them even skate anymore (thats weird to me, unless your paralyzed) and I know for fact that some of them never even did! You know what we had to say about that? Fuck that!
Now lets bring you up to today. I'm sure you all know by now that my good friend Mike Vallely has quit Element to start his own company on his own dime, "By the Sword". Mike for some reason asked me a lot of questions about how we run our business, I dont know what the hell he is thinking. Well I've helped him out a little, showing him some pointers and we got to talking. We got to talking about the whole distribution thing. Turns out, he feels the same way we do about things. So, we said "Fuck this" and decided to get together and start our own distribution company! Thats right skate jocks! Kristian Svitak (me), Mike Vallely, and Mike Beer have joined forces for dumb idea number 3! I give you "Regulator Distribution"! Regulator will be the home of 1031 skateboards, By The Sword Skateboards, Landshark Wheels, Beer City Skateboards and Records and D.R.I. Records and Merch.
Go get weird on that!

Well it has been 4 years since my buddy and I started 1031. Yeah,
crazy! And people still dont know who we are. Your right we suck! We suck so bad we decided to start another company to bring us down even further.
LandShark wheels! We wanted to do this about 4 years ago but we where too broke. Since then we decided to cut back on eating so many corn dogs so we could
save the money to do it. When we knew we wanted to do this my buddy asked "what should we call it?" I looked down at my forearm and saw one of my mistakes
I got at the tattoo shop about 6 years ago. Yeah, I thought it was real clever to get "LandShark" along with a skateboard with a shark fin on it tattooed
on my arm. Duh! But, as I looked down at my arm, I said I've got it! LandShark wheels! I even have a logo ready to go! So there it is, More bullshit to flood the market.
As far as team? We got one. Its myself , Ben Raybourn ,Bill Danforth and Mike Vallely. Who cares, no one will buy this crap anyways!
